Me Malaysian in Mesir: Chapter 81

Otherwise a flat line

Life had been monotonous. Today the lads are heading to Cairo, and I'm heading nowhere. People expecting me to go somewhere. Most ask me how's "my trip" to Sinai had been, which I patiently answered, "No, I haven't been there".

Then goes the same monotonous trademark questions on why and how and what.

For those close to me, the words "Tidak pergi Sinai" that either pops up from my mouth or written on the comments and walls in the Facebook seem to increase the gravitational pull of their jaw. Now they appeared to look like the very look of The Scream, aghast to my answer. Perhaps the very idea of how I wasted my first holiday, and how I wasted a very good chance of going somewhere, and how I choose to skip hiking trip which otherwise I won't missed it for the world, seem far too much to bear (tensions are suppose to reside on the brain, how it goes to the jaw is something I wonder) for them.

I supposed this what happen when you spend nearly every single bits of your holiday anywhere but home in the past.

Oh well, let us not dwell on this.

So if my life is to compare with an ECG, it would be a flat line. Very flat.

Though once in a while, something happen to cause a bit of depolarization or re-polarization to the otherwise flat line.

For example is this sudden task I got. To make a video. On normal day (of this holiday), my desktop would look like this:

But upon receiving the task, it abruptly turn to this:

Uh, I'm not so sure is this the sign of hardwork or just the fact I'm too naive in this (video editing).

Well, that's all for now folks!

Happy doing whatever make you smile! :)

p.s: homesick?
